Newtown Square Craft Beer Festival: Pints in the Square Sponsor deadline Aug. 12

Event is Sat., Sept. 17, 2016 Tickets Still Available for beer tasting and/or 5k

“I love Newtown Square and feel an event like this can build an even stronger sense of community,”
said Rick Thompson, president of Newtown Square Neighbors, a nonprofit organization banded together to promote the town through a special event. “Come out and meet your neighbors while you enjoy craft beer, local food and live music!”

On Saturday, Sept. 17, more than 25 breweries will be handing out samples of more than 50 different beers. The event is a first for Newtown Square, a town that gets together for an annual Christmas Tree lighting, a Fourth of July parade, and now a craft beer festival. Also on tap for the day, live music, local food vendors and a 5K run. Tickets are limited and are on sale now through http://www.pintsinthesquare.com.

The 5k starts at 11 a.m., with the Brew Fest following from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Ellis Preserve, 3805 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
