A 31-year-old Philadelphia man is accused of opening a credit line using the name of a deceased man, Marple Township Police said.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man is accused of opening a credit line in a dead man's name, Marple Township Police said.
Jordan Hayes, 31, of Philadelphia, has been charged with felony forgery, felony identity theft, and theft by deception, court records show.
Hayes was charged after police in January spoke to a woman who said her deceased husband's identity was used to open a line of credit.

An investigation into the credit line revealed Hayes opened the line, police said.
Police were able to review videos and images of a purchase made, using the line of credit, and confirmed that Hayes was the person who made the purchase, police said.
