Daily Road Closures, Delays Expected For Utility Work In Marple
Aqua Pennsylvania will soon perform construction in Marple Township, which will close roads on weekdays at certain times.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Palmers Mill Road/Paxon Hollow Road in Marple Township will close for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.
Aqua Pennsylvania will conduct the utility work, scheduled to begin March 16.
Palmers Mill Road/Paxon Hollow Road will be closed and detoured from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays between Martins Run and the Paxon Hollow Golf Club entrance. See PennDOT's map.

This schedule is planned through April 24.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 252 (Newtown Street Road), Cedar Grove Road and Route 320 (Sproul Road). Local access will be maintained.

Drivers should anticipate potential backups and delays near the work zone and leave early for their travels. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
