Daytime Closures Planned On Bishop Hollow Roa​d

Daytime closures are planned on Bishop Hollow Road beginning next week through late November for water main replacement work.

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Bishop Hollow Road between Smedley Lane and Ellis Avenue in Newtown Township starting Wednesday, Sept.14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

During construction, Bishop Hollow Road through traffic will be detoured over Providence Road, Route 252 (Palmers Mill Road/Newtown Street Road) and Route 3(West Chester Pike).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area, PennDOT said.
