Delco Bus Driver Took 'Upskirt' Photos Of Young Students: Officials

A criminal investigation is underway after a search of the driver's cell phone revealed the photos.

MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — A Delaware County bus driver is under criminal investigation after authorities said he engaged in inappropriate behavior with children, including taking "upskirt" photos.

The incidents occurred on a bus in the Marple Newtown School District. Numerous photos of young girls were found on the driver's cell phone, school officials said.

The driver has not been identified, but in a statement to the school community, the district said he drove bus #302.

He is no longer employed by the district as the investigation continues.

"At this time, the District can assure that this individual is no longer employed by the District, and will not be permitted on school grounds," the district's statement reads in part. "The District is fully cooperating with law enforcement's ongoing criminal investigation."

6ABC reports that students at St. Mary Magdalen School first reported suspicious behavior.
