Delco Fatal Hit-And-Run: Driver Sought By PA State Police

Pennsylvania State Police said a blue Ford F-150 struck two vehicles and a 44-year-old man, killing him, Saturday night in Delaware County.

UPPER CHICHESTER, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are asking for helping in their investigation into a fatal hit-and-run in Delaware County.

According to police, troopers were called to mile marker 2.4 on Interstate 95 north at about 9:12 p.m. on Saturday for a hit-and-run.

Troopers found a motorcycle, a pickup truck and a 44-year-old pedestrian struck.

The pedestrian, Maurice Pinkard, died from his injuries at the scene, police said.

State Police said a blue Ford F-150 was driving in the right lane of I-95 north, swerved onto the shoulder, and struck the two vehicles and Pinkard.

The truck did not stop to provide assistance and left the area on Exit 3, police said.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist Pinkard's family.

According to the campaign, Pinkard leaves behind his wife, his mother and siblings, six children and four grandchildren.

A dedicated and loving father and grandfather, Moe endlessly raved about his family," the page reads. "He had a lovely sense of humor and exemplified generosity by always being there for those in need."

As of Wednesday morning, $2,040 of the $50,000 goal has been raised.
