Kristen Rutecki, Steve Reynolds, Sheila O'Donnell
Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
Yes
What does the nominee do for work?:
RN at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Lauren is the hardest worker I know. Working over 40 hours a week, she constantly puts herself in the backseat to help others. During this pandemic, Lauren has not been able to see my family because she does not want to risk getting anyone sick, as she is treating patients with COVID each and every day.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Lauren always goes out of her way to help others and never complains about it. She will be the first person to offer a hand to help without ever thinking twice.
