PA Nursing Home Worker Assaulted Wheelchair-Bound Resident: Police
A worker at St. Francis Country House in Darby is charged with felony aggravated assault after authorities said she hit a resident.
DARBY, PA — A Delaware County nursing home worker is in custody on felony assault and related charges after authorities said she assaulted a 92-year-old resident of the nursing home.
Ednise Dulcio, 39, is charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault, two counts of striking a care-dependent person, two counts of harassment, and related crimes.
Dulcio, a nursing assistant at St. Francis Country House in Darby, is accused of striking the resident on April 11.

According to Fox 29, Darby Police were called to the facility Monday evening and were told Dulcio was seen striking a resident.
A witness captured Dulcio on video striking the resident at least once, Action News reports.

According to the outlet, Darby Borough Police Chief Joseph Gabe said he would "absolutely not" send his loved ones to the facility.
Dulcio is being held on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 27, court records show.
