Trailer Stolen On West Chester Pike: Newtown Police

Newtown Township Police said a trailer was stolen from a property on West Chester pike recently and are asking for help finding the thief.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Newtown Township are looking for the person who stole a trailer from a West Chester Pike recently and are asking for the public's help.

Police said the trailer was stolen on Jan. 24 at about 5:21 a.m. from the BPG property located at 3815 West Chester Pike.

According to police, the thief used a pickup truck stolen from Bryn Mawr College to take the trailer.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s or early 40s. He has brown hair with a reddish-brown beard. Police said he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a logo on both the front and back, jeans and boots.

Police said the man was referring to himself at "Jack" or "Jake."
