DUI Driver Crashed Car Into Delaware County Home: State Police

A Glen Mills man, 22, crashed into a Delaware County home when the vehicle he was driving launched into the air after hitting an embankment.

THORNBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said a man was taken into custody for DUI after he crashed a vehicle into a Delaware County home.

The crash happened at about 11:36 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 in Thornbury Township, authorities said.

Shane Blose, 22, of Glen Mills, was speeding when he left the road in an Infiniti G37, police said.

The vehicle hit a grass embankment, which launched it into the air, a police report states.

The Infiniti then crashed into a home on Middletown Road, according to state police.

The vehicle came to a rest on its roof, and Blose was taken to Paoli Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

He was charged with driving under the influence, police said.
