YEADON, PA — An off duty Philadelphia deputy sheriff was shot Tuesday night during an attempted robbery in Delaware County, according to reports.
The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. on the 1300 block of Alfred Avenue in Yeadon, Fox 29 reports.
According to NBC10, the deputy was shot in the buttocks after being approached by armed robbers.
