This is the second year for the Delaware County Walk for Hunger.  A community wide event benefitting hunger and homelessness, the intent is to make it a community effort as well.  Family friendly and senior friendly the walk will include a 5.4k fun run,  a walk, and alternative forms of transportation for those wishing to participate but unable to handle the distance.  While coordinated by St. Alban's Church, this is a secular event that wishes to involve all people regardless of creed. 

The walk is benefitting two local and one international charity.  Specifically: The Community Action Agency of Delaware County (caadc.org), the Broomall Food Pantry (DIFAN) and Heifer International (heifer.org).
