Growing Stronger

Growing Stronger is a unique six-week exercise and conditioning program providing small group instruction for teens (ages 14-18 welcome) with special needs. Components include exercise assessments, sport specific activity, as well as strength and aerobic conditioning. Aside from increasing stamina, endurance and strength, the program is designed to improve socialization skills, body awareness, focus and
academic achievements. Annie Linton M.Ed, a masters level clinical exercise physiologist, will coordinate the program. Classes will meet at the Gauntlett Community Center.
