Historic Newtown Square Day

Historic Newtown Square Day is almost here!

Join us for a community celebration!  On Saturday, June 2nd, from 10am -4pm, come celebrate our past and present with hands-on history at the Square Tavern and tours of other historic sites.  Grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music while visiting artisans, vendors and service organizations.  Wander through the colonial soldier’s encampment, enter a sack race, and try a lemon stick.  There will be plenty of fun and games for kids and grownups too!

The “Antiques Roadshow” with Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers is BACK by popular demand!  This is your chance to have an expert evaluation of that interesting knickknack or mysterious family heirloom you’ve always wondered about.  Poke around in the attic and see if you can come up with a winner!

The majority of activities take place at the Square Tavern- at the corner of Rt. 252 and Goshen Road.  Additional parking is available at the Newtown Square Presbyterian Church.  The Papermill House and other historic sites in town will be open as well – check your program book for maps and more information.

Tickets for all Historic NS Day events are $6 for adults, FREE for kids.
