Gentle Yoga with Props

This is a non-heated class. Recommended for beginners, those with injuries or who find movement a challenge.

Do you know someone who would like to take yoga but doesn’t because they have problems with balance, suffer from chronic pain and fatigue or are generally inactive or overweight?

Chair yoga can be the beginning for many people in these scenarios. Yoga postures bring a multitude of benefits that aid the body to move more easily and freely.  Practicing yoga  helps the body find and maintain its natural balance with simple tensing and relaxing movements.

Chair yoga is suitable for anyone who finds movement a challenge. Yoga works the lymphatic system, which when not working properly has us feeling heavy, stiff and lifeless. For this reason, chair yoga is an excellent choice for those dealing with chronic pain or chronic fatigue often associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis and autoimmune disorders.

I am pleased to announce  the  addition of begin with chair yoga to our schedule starting this Wednesday, July 3rd 2013 at 10am with our very dedicated yoga teacher, Jane Barry DePaul.

The one hour class includes postures seated on the chair and standing poses using the chair for support. If you know someone who is interested please send them to www.be-loved-yoga.com or have them call me for more information at 610-256-7467.

Thanks so much for your help with getting the word out about this new offering.  Wishing you a relaxing, peaceful summer.
