Felony Charges Filed In Newtown Square Bank Robbery
A Philadelphia woman is facing charges in Delaware and Montgomery counties in connection with two separate bank robberies.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Police in Newtown Township said a Philadelphia woman is facing felony charges in connection with a bank robbery in late July.
According to police, Florence Moody, 52, of Philadelphia, is facing three separate felony robbery charges, as well as theft, receiving stolen property, and terroristic threat charges.
She was arrested Aug. 10 in Montgomery County, police said.

Moody is also facing similar charges out of Montgomery County for another bank robbery.
She is accused of robbing the Bryn Mawr Trust, 3601 West Chester Pike, in Newtown Square at 1:43 p.m. July 22.

The Montgomery County incident occurred on May 30 at a Citizens Bank in Springfield.
She is in custody at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility awaiting a preliminary hearing on $50,000 bail.
A date for hearings on the charges in Delaware County has yet to be set, court records show.
