UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Several people were hurt after three vehicles crashed and caught fire in Upper Providence Township Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the crash occurred on the 2000 block of North Providence Road Thursday at about 12:30 p.m.

According to police, four people were taken to area hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports the cars caught fire after gasoline was leaking from them.

According to the outlet, one car crossed into oncoming traffic, striking the two other cars.
