Fighting With Cops Lands Felony Charge For Delco Man: Police
A Delaware County man is accused of fighting with police officers in Chester County earlier this month, landing him a felony assault charge.
DREXEL HILL, PA — A Delaware County man was arrested earlier this month after authorities said he assaulted a police officer during a traffic stop in Chester County.
Michael Katrakazis, 23, of Drexel Hill was charged with felony aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and related offenses in connection with a Sept. 11 incident in West Chester.
West Chester Police stopped a vehicle driven by Katrakazis after seeing it facing the wrong way on the 50 block of West Barnard Street in West Chester.

Police said Katrakazis started fighting with the officers, injuring one.
Katrakazis was eventually taken into custody.

He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 20, court records show.
