Finance Director Sought In Newtown Township

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, at least of 10 years accounting/finance experience, and computer aptitude and software skills.

The Township is seeking a financially skilled and experienced individual to serve as its Finance Director. The Township has a General Fund budget of $10.5 million, an Authority budget of $5.7 million and is financially stable. The Director will administer all financial activities, including payroll, record keeping, payment of expenses, recording of revenue, managing of insurances and financial reporting; and supervise a staff of 3-4. Candidates should have (1) Bachelor’s Degree; (2) minimum of 10 years accounting/finance experience, preferably in government; (3) excellent computer aptitude and software skills; (4) a positive approach to customer service and teamwork. Salary Range is $100,000-$120,000 with an excellent employer paid benefit program.
