Firefighters Injured In Delco House Fire Tuesday Morning

Officials are looking at arson as a possible cause for the early Tuesday morning blaze at the abandoned house, reports say.

Two Delaware County firefighters were treated for injuries sustained while responding to a house fire in Chester Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at a home on the 400 block of Bickely Place on the east side of the city at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire began in an abandoned home and spread to an occupied neighborhood home, 6ABC reports.

The outlet reports that officials are investigating arson as the blaze's cause.

Fire officials said the two firefighters were treated for minor injuries and released from a hospital.
