Food Fare Replacing Broomall Fire Company Carnivals

The Food Fare will be held over three days in Broomall and feature cheese steaks, french fries, snow cones, funnel cake, and much more.

BROOMALL, PA — While the coronavirus has put the kibosh on countless events regionally and nationally, local organizations are pivoting in an effort to hold community events. And the Broomall Fire Company is just one of those organizations shifting from its typical schedule.

The fire company is hosting a Food Fare in lieu of its spring and fall carnivals.

This event will be held over three days from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11; noon to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12; and noon to 6p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.

The event will feature all kinds of carnival foods, such as fried Oreos, mozzarella sticks, hot dogs, funnel cake, pierogies, snow cones, sausage, and much more.

All foods will be available in the field of the Broomall Fire Company at North Malin Road and West Chester Pike.

Parking will be available on site.

Attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing when at the Food Fare.
