Girl, 6, Shot Outside Delco Store Thursday: Reports

The shooting occurred outside Chester Shop & Save Thursday night and left a 6-year-old girl with three gunshot wounds.

CHESTER, PA — A 6-year-old girl was hurt in a Delaware County shooting Thursday, according to reports.

Action News reports the shooting occurred at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday near the Chester Shop & Save in Chester.

A gunman fired shots at the store's parking lot, striking multiple vehicles and a nearby home, NBC10 reports.

The victim was inside a car when she was shot three times.

According to Fox 29, the 6-year-old girl was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center then CHOP where she is recovering.
