Help Shape Newtown Township's 5-Year Plan At Upcoming Meetings

The public is invited to attend two meetings on Wednesday and Thursday that will focus on the township's five-year plan.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township residents are invited to attend two public meetings on that will focus on the township's five-year strategic plan.

A meeting will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5. Another will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6. Both will be held in the Newtown Township Building.

Residents can share their input at the township develops the plan.

This process has no preconceived direction and the township plans to develop this plan solely from community input.

"This is truly your opportunity as a member of this community to let us know what you feel are the most important issues that should be addressed in the future," the township said. "The greater the number of responses we receive, the more worthwhile the plan will be."

With the information gathered from the public meetings and focus groups, an online survey will be developed.

The survey will be available online starting June 17.

The Newtown Township Building is located at 209 Bishop Hollow Road, Newtown Square.
