Horseshoe, Cornhole Tourney To Benefit Marple Police Association
Teams can try their hand at winning $500 in both the horseshoe and cornhole tournaments being held June 18 at Cardinal O'Hara High School.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Calling all horseshoe and cornhole pros: a tournament is being held to benefit the Marple Township Police Department and you can sign up now.
The tournament, hosted by the Marple Township Police Association, will be held on Saturday, June 15 at Cardinal O'Hara High School.
Registration costs $60 per team for both the horseshoe and cornhole tourneys.

Payment is due by June 8. Checks can be made payable to the Marple Township Police Association and mailed to Kevin McCaffrey, 1000 Lee Drive, Broomall PA 19008. Cash is accepted, as well as Venmo payment. To register via Venmo, send payment to Kevin-McCaffrey-18.
The winning team from each event wins $500.

The day kicks off at 8 a.m. with registration and games start at 9 a.m.
Finals will be played in a best-of-three series.
There will be hot dogs, burgers, hats and shirts for sale, a DJ, and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and drink, as the tournament is a picnic/tailgate atmosphere.
Entry is free for spectators, but a $5 suggested donation or two canned goods as donations are encouraged. Donations will go to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at Prospect Hill Baptist Church.
