BROOMALL, PA — A house fire raged for two hours in Broomall Sunday, displacing a family who runs a local business, according to first responders.

The Broomall Fire company and Marple Police were called to the home of the Giosa family on the 300 block of Warren Boulevard in Broomall at about 5:02 a.m. Sunday.

Police said the home sustained extensive damage and the cause is under investigation.

The fire company said the family's cat, Twilight, got out during the fire and is missing. Anyone who has information on Twilight is asked to call 610-931-6046.

The Giosa family runs Colonial Village in Havertown.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support the family.

"While Ed, Terry and the kids are completely displaced and trying to navigate this traumatic event, this seems to be the best way to support them and accept the help you’ve all so generously offered," organizer Jill Myers wrote on the page. "We are all so grateful and know that the village surrounding us is such a blessing."

As of late Monday morning, more than $12,000 of the $25,000 goal has been reached.
