I-476 South Lane Closing Through Friday in Marple Area

MARPLE, PA – The right lane of Interstate 476 south will close daily through Friday in the Marple Township area, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said the lane will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 through Friday, April 6 for tree removal work.

The affected area is between the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and the U.S. 1 and Media/Swarthmore interchanges in Marple, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during construction.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
