I476 Lanes Closing In Delco, Montco Nightly This Week

Lanes on north and southbound Interstate 476 in parts of Delaware and Montgomery counties will close nightly this week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, lane closures will hit the highway Monday, Feb. 26 through Friday, March 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Affected areas are Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Upper Providence, Nether Providence, Springfield and Ridley townships in Delaware County, as well as Lower Merion and Plymouth townships in Montgomery County.

Crews will be working on sign maintenance during those hours, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time on I-476 when traveling through the work area.

The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
