Lane Closing On I-476 South In Marple Until Further Notice

MARPLE, PA — Drivers on Interstate 476 south in the Marple area will find a lane closed until further notice, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the right lane will be closed to allow engineers to fully assess expansion dam damage and develop a plan to repair the structure.

The affected area is over the Media Bypass/U.S. Route 1.

PennDOT said the lane will be closed indefinitely.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel because backups and delays will occur.
