Lanes Closing Overnight, During Daytime On Newtown Township Road
Lanes in both directions on West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Newtown Square will close during the day and nighttime next week, PennDOT said.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Crews will be doing roadway construction on West Chester Pike/Route 3 in Newtown Township next week, forcing a lane closure on the road.
The work will be done Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5.
Lanes in both directions will be closed on the road between Booth Road and Ellis Avenue.

Closures will be in place overnight and during the daytime, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
