Lyft Offering Cheap Rides To Delco Breweries For St Paddy's Day

Looking for safe and cheap(er) way to get around on St. Patrick's Day?

A new program through transportation provider Lyft offers riders discounted fares to certain craft breweries throughout the region for the holiday, including several in Delaware

Destination breweries must be members of the Brewers of Pennsylvania (BOP) in order for the special discounted rate to apply.

Using the promo code "LUCKYPA," riders can receive 30 percent off of one ride to or from any of the member breweries.

"Pennsylvania produces some of the very best craft beer in the world, and as people enjoy these unique and tasty products throughout this holiday season, they can celebrate knowing they have a safe, reliable ride to and from BOP member breweries with Lyft," Dan LaBert, Executive Director of the Brewers of Pennsylvania, said in a statement. "We're excited to partner with Lyft, and anticipate beer lovers from aficionados to weekend samplers in all parts of the state to take advantage of discounted rides as they head to a familiar or new Pennsylvania brewery."

BOP works across the state to promote the craft brewing industry and to serve consumers of craft beer.
