Man Caught Pushing Shopping Cart With Stolen TVs: Marple Police

Police said the man went into Walmart and left the store with two TVs he did not pay for. He was found nearby pushing the TVs in a cart.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Marple Township arrested a man they said walked out of a store with two televisions without paying for them.

According to police, two officers were called to the Walmart at 400 S. State Road at about 6:47 p.m. Saturday.

Employees told police that a man pushed a shopping cart with two TVs in it out of the store without paying for them.

They said the man was seen heading across the parking lot.

Police later found the man, identified as 25-year-old Antoine Blackwell from Philadelphia, with the shopping cart and two TVs on South State Road, heading toward Interstate 476.

According to police, the TVs were valued at $529.

Police charged Blackwell with retail theft.
