Man Sought For Package Theft In Newtown Square

Police said a man pulled up to a home Sunday evening and stole a packaged from the porch. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call police.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Police in Newtown Square are asking for help identifying a package theft suspect.

According to police, a packaged was stolen at about 8 p.m. Sunday from Newtown Square home.

Security footage from the home captured a late 1990s or 2000s era dark-colored Mercury Mountaineer pull up to the home.

A man gets out of the vehicle and walks up to the porch where he took a package and walked back to the vehicle then drove off.

Police described the suspect as a white man in his 20s or 30s who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, a Phillies hat with a red brim, and a white face mask.
