Man Used Different Personas To Steal From Delco Victim: Police
State Police believe Michael Lombertino, of Downingtown, has committed similar crimes to several victims over the past few years.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Sixteen felony counts of theft-related charges have been filed against a man accused of deceiving a Delaware County person to steal tens of thousands in cash.
Pennsylvania State Police said Michael Vincent Lombertino, 53, of Downingtown, was arrested on Nov. 25.
Lombertino is accused of deceiving a Delaware County out of a total of $51,500 in cash.

He faces seven felony counts of criminal attempt of theft by unlawful taking, seven counts of felony criminal attempted theft by deception, and one count each of felony theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception.
State police said Lombertino used multiple personas to deceive the victim.

Lombertino is alleged to have asked for money from the victim and in exchange, promised to pay twice the amount of money back at a later date. Police said Lombertino never had the means nor intent to pay the victim back.
State police believe Lombertino has done this to several victims over the last several years.
Anyone who may have been victimized by Lombertino is asked to contact the Avondale barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police at 610-268-2022.
Lombertino was held after failing to post 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 10.
