Man Wanted In Delco For Selling Fatal Fentanyl Dose: DA

A 31-year-old Wallingford man is wanted in connection with a fentanyl overdose that took the life of a 16-year-old prospect park girl.

TINICUM TOWNSHIP, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are asking for help locating a man wanted for delivering a fatal dose of fentanyl to a teenage girl this summer.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and the Tinicum Township Police Department recently issued an arrest warrant for William Gabe Jr. 31, of Wallingford.

Gabe is wanted for drug delivery resulting in death and involuntary manslaughter.

The DA's office said Gabe is believed to have provided fentanyl to a 16-year-old girl from Prospect Park who on July 14 this year died at the Red Roof Inn in Essington from a fentanyl overdose.

Authorities allege Gabe tried to destroy evidence pertaining to the death.
