Marple Holding Meeting On Don Guanella Zoning Ordinance July 8

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Marple Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 5:30 P.M., on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Marple Township building located at 227 S. Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008 in connection with an Ordinance Amending Chapter 300, Section 300-16, Zoning Map as set forth below (the “Amendments”). The title and a summary of the proposed ordinance follows:

TOWNSHIP OF MARPLE ORDINANCE NO.2024-4-A

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MARPLE, DELAWARE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING CHAPTER 300 ZONING, SECTION 300-16 ZONING MAP, TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PARCELS (PARID# 25-00-04498-03 and 25-00-04498-04) FROM R-B RESIDENTIAL, R-C RESIDENTIAL AND INS INSTITUTIONAL TO OS OPEN SPACE

The proposed Ordinance would amend Chapter 300 Zoning to change the zoning designation of the designated property from the current R-B Residential, R-C Residential and INS Institutional to OS Open Space, amend the Zoning Map to reflect that the designated property shall be designated as OS Open Space zoning district, direct the Township engineer to amend the Zoning Map of Marple Township to carry out the intent and purpose of the ordinance and repeal inconsistent ordinances or parts thereof.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that following the public hearing, Marple Township Board of Commissioners will consider the adoption of the proposed Amendments at its scheduled Regular Meeting on July 8, 2024 at 7:00 P.M.

Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008 during regular business hours.
