Marple Newtown Combined Veterans Alliance Holds Annual Picnic

Last Saturday, August 1, all three veterans organizations belonging to the Marple-Newtown Combined Veterans Alliance gathered at the Drexel Lodge Park on West Chester Pike for its annual picnic. Held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm every year in August, the picnic offers members and families of the three veterans organizations the opportunity to mix, share stories, and enjoy a fantastic catered picnic repast. The Marple Newtown Combined Veterans Alliance, in addition to the annual picnic, provides grave side services for deceased veterans and participates in local patriotic events such as the Memorial Day and Independence Day parades.
