Marple Newtown High School Ranked Nationally by Newsweek

MNHS is among the Top 735 public, charter and magnet schools across the country, Newsweek said.

Newsweek has included Marple Newtown High School in its latest list of the country’s top high schools.

Marple Newtown ranked 334th on the list of more than 700 public, charter and magnet schools across the country.

Newsweek used six indicators for its ranking methodology, its Daily Beast website said, including graduation and college acceptance rates; college-level courses and exams; percentage of students with free or reduced lunch; and SAT and ACT scores.

Other area schools that made the list include Radnor High School, which came in at 96, and Haverford High School, which was ranked at 409.

The highest-ranked school in Pennsylvania was Unionville High School in Kennett Square, which was ranked at No. 66.
