Marple Newtown Kindergarten Registration Opening Soon

Kindergarten registration for students looking to attend Marple Newtown schools opens soon, and we have all the details you need to ensure your students are enrolled without issue.

Students can be registered at all Marple Newtown School District elementary schools from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 13 and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14.

Students should be registered in their neighborhood schools.

  • Worrall Elementary School – 2979 Pennview Ave., Broomall, PA 19008
  • Loomis Elementary School – 369 N. Central Boulevard, Broomall, PA 1900
  • Culbertson Elementary School – 3530 Goshen Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073
  • Russell Elementary School – 2201 Sproul Road Broomall, PA 19008

Kids must be five year old on or before Sept. 5, 2017 to be eligible for Kindergarten, the district said.

Before you register your student, make sure you have the following documents ready.

Proof of immunization including:

  • Four doses of tetanus and diphtheria - with 1 dose on or after the 4th birthday
  • Three doses of polio
  • 2 doses of measles and mumps
  • 1 dose of rubella (German measles)
  • 3 doses of hepatitis B
  • 2 doses of varicella (chickenpox) or history of disease

The child’s government issued birth certificate or Passport.

Proof of residence in Marple or Newtown Township.

  • Residency is demonstrated by presenting a Deed, Real Estate Tax bill, bill of sale or a Lease, and two other forms of identification such as a current electric or phone bill. No other documents will be accepted.

Valid driver’s license.

The district said it will provide a Kindergarten information folder for each new student and parent/guardian.
