MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA — The Marple Newtown School District has been ranked among the best districts in the state and nation.
Data analysis company Niche recently released its list of the best school districts in the nation and states.
Lower Merion came in at No. 27 in Pennsylvania and No. 270 nationally in Niche's ranking.

The district earned "A+" grades from Niche in teachers, clubs and activities, and health and safety.
It earned "A" grades in academics and college prep.

A "B-" grade was given to the district's diversity.
Marple Newtown High School was ranked No. 46 among the state's best high schools, too.
It earned A+ in health and safety and clubs and activities; A in teachers; A- in academics and college prep; and B in diversity.
