Marple Police Hosting 1st Ever Coffee With a Cop Event
Many nearby police departments host the community events with great success. And now Marple Police want to get a cup of java with you.
BROOMALL, PA – Many police departments in the greater Philadelphia area host "Coffee With A Cop" events where community members can get to know the men and women who protect and serve their community. And now Marple Township Police are getting in on that community action.
From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, police from the department will be on hand at Apple Walnut Cafe in Broomall to meet with you for their first Coffee With A Cop event.
Coffee With A Cop events are have no agenda and serve as a way for residents to connect with their local police.

Community members can ask questions about issues in the area or simply get to know police.
Police said they hope this is the first of many Coffee With A Cop events.
