Marple Police Suspend All Community Events, Tours
Additionally, the department's records division will operate on a limited scheduled beginning next week, police said.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Marple Township Police have canceled all public events in light of the local outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
Police said Wednesday that all Community Policing events and police station tours until are suspended until further notice.
Additionally, fingerprinting services and Child Safety Seat Inspections will also be suspended until further notice.

Starting Monday, the Records Division will operate on a limited schedule, with staff available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Records Division phone number is 610-356-1500.
"At this time, the department is working fully staffed and operating normally," police said. "Officers will remain on patrol and available to respond to the needs of the community. The officers remain committed to protecting the community and providing assistance when needed."
