Marple Township is declaring a snow emergency for Tuesday due to the coming storm.
The emergency will be in effect from 9 p.m. Monday to noon Wednesday.
During the Snow Emergency, parking is prohibited on all roads designated as Snow Emergency Routes and in all cul-de-sac. A list of emergency routes are listed below.

Township plowing crews will be working throughout the storm and their priority will be to keep a single lane of traffic open on every road in the township if possible, according to the township.
Residents are asked not to park on streets, avoid traveling during the storm, and not to throw or plow snow back into the street when clearing sidewalks or driveways.

Once the snow has stopped, the township hopes to have all township roads and cul-de-sacs clear within 18 to 24 hours.
Any residents experiencing emergencies should call 911.
As of 6 p.m., township crews are planning to collect trash Tuesday unless weather conditions significantly impair road travel.
