Marple Traffic Stop Leads To Heroin, Fentanyl Busts

Two men were arrested and charged with drug crimes after police found heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and other drugs during a traffic stop.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Marple Township seized various drugs and cahr3ged two men with drug crimes following a traffic stop last week.

According to police, Shaun Bonner, 39, of Glenolden, and Ryan Little, 30, of Collingdale, were arrested on May 22.

On that day, police stopped a vehicle for code violations on the 700 block of West Sproul Road at about 8:09 p.m.

The driver, who was driving with a suspended license, consented to a search of the vehicle.

Police then found, marijuana, heroin/fentanyl, pills, and drug paraphernalia on Bonner and Little, who were passengers in the vehicle.

Police said Little had an active arrest warrant from York County.

Bonner and little are facing drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession charges.

Little was held after failing to post 10 percent of $25,000 bail and Bonner was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

They are scheduled to have preliminary hearings on June 11.
