Marple Twp. Leaf Collection Begins Oct. 24

Marple Township will begin collecting resident's leaves at the end of the month, according to the township's website.

The township breaks up the collection by week, with Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 having collections the weeks of OCt. 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 21, Dec. 5, and Dec. 19.

Wards 5, 6, and 7 collection weeks are Oct. 31, Nov. 14, Nov. 28, Dec. 12, and Dec. 26.

Resident's leaves will be collected all week.

The following dates will not have leaf collections:

• Friday, Nov. 11
• Thursday, Nov. 24
• Friday, Nov. 25
• Monday, Dec. 26

The last days for collection in Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 is Friday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Dec. 30 for Wards 5, 6, and 7.

The township said the schedule is tentative and depends on weather. Leaves must be placed at the curb to be collected.
