Married Delco Couple Charged After Drug Probe: Authorities
Authorities found guns, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash at the Glenolden home of Jamal and DaShonna Rose after an undercover operation.
GLENOLDEN, PA — A married Delaware County couple has been hit with drug and firearm charges following a bust that stemmed from a month-long undercover investigation, authorities said.
According to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, Jamal Rose, 30, and his spouse, DaShonna Rose, 30, both of Glenolden, are charged with drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession. Jamal Rose was also charged with felony firearm crimes.
The charges come after work from the Delaware County Drug Task Force, as well as the Folcroft and Glenolden police departments.

Authorities said the Jamal Rose was taken into custody on Monday on the 600 block of Grant Road in Glenolden and DaShonna Rose was taken into custody at their 313 Sharp Ave. home on a warrant following the undercover drug trafficking investigation.
Police said Jamal Rose had cocaine, marijuana, cash, a phone, and a folding knife on him when he was taken into custody.

When authorities executed a search warrant at their home, they found three handguns, ammunition, cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, as well as $25,000 in cash, according to the DA's office.
"Drug dealers, particularly those who possess automatic weapons to protect their illegal operations, present a real danger to everyone in our community," Stollsteimer said. "Thanks to the work of the Delaware County Drug Task Force, two more dealers and their weapons have now been removed from the streets of Glenolden."
Jamal Rose was arraigned and bail was set at 10 percent of $250,000, and DaShonna Rose had her bail set at $150,000 cash.
Both have been remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 30 for both Roses.
