Memorial Day Crash Causes Injury, Severely Damages Vehicle In Delco

EDGMONT, PA — One person was injured and a vehicle was severely damaged during a Memorial Day crash in Delaware County, officials said.

The crash unfolded at 12:56 p.m. on the 1700 block of Slitting Mill Road in Edgmont.

Photos shared by the Newtown Square Fire Company, which responded to the incident, show a severely damaged vehicle tipped toward its side just off the roadway.

One person was brought to the hospital. Officials didn't share their condition.

The Edgmont, Rocky Run and Middletown fire companies also responded to the scene.
