Meth, Heroin, 40 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized By Marple Police

Police said they seized three packages, two full of marijuana and one full of methamphetamine and heroin, in the mail recently.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Several ounces of methamphetamine and heroin, as well as about 40 pounds of marijuana, that were mailed to Marple addresses were seized by township police recently, according to police.

Marple Police said that last week its Drug Task Force officers intercepted two totes shipped through the United States Postal Service.

The totes each were packed with about 20 pounds of marijuana grown in California, police said.

The packages were headed to the same recipient.

Police are investigating the large marijuana shipment.

Additionally, officers with the task force seized several ounces of methamphetamine and heroin that was sent to an address on the 2500 block of West Chester Pike.

Police said they made two arrests in connection with the meth and heroin packages.
