Molotov Cocktail Thrown At Delco Home Friday: Police
Luckily, the homemade incendiary device did not break when it was thrown at the home last week, police said.

A Delaware County home was the target of a Molotov cocktail device recently, according to police. Luckily, when the incident occurred last week the device did not break, which could have resulted in the home being set ablaze.
On Friday, Oct. 27, crews responded to a home on the 100 block of Fairview Road in Springfield Township for a report of a fire in front of the home, Springfield Police said.
When police arrived, they found a homemade incendiary device – commonly known as a Molotov cocktail – burning in the residence's side yard.

Police said the device was a 40oz beer bottle stuffed with a cloth wick that was set on fire.
Luckily, police said the device did not break when it was thrown at the house.

Police are investigating the incident.
