More Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Available In Delco This Week

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — More drive-thru coronavirus testing is available this week at two sites in Delaware County.

The county is conducting public drive-thru coronavirus testing at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby from through Friday and at the US Army Reserve in Upland on Tuesday

work in Delaware County and have coronavirus symptoms, were exposed to coronavirus, or are considered critical/essential workers.

Those with health insurance are asked to bring their insurances card to the test site. However, there are no out-of-pocket costs or co-pays for coronavirus testing.

Masks or face coverings must be worn when at the testing sites.

Test results typically take four to seven days. Additional testing information, including details regarding how to obtain faster results and the locations of additional public and private coronavirus test sites, can be found on the link listed above.

Those with a positive test result may be called by the Chester County Health department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

  • Tuesday — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, 1500 Lansdowne Ave., Darby

  • Tuesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday —3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
