Motorcycle Driver Facing Felony After Fleeing: Marple Police

Police said an 18-year-old man is facing a felony fleeing police charges after speeding off from a traffic stop and weaving in traffic.

MARPLE, PA — An 18-year-old man was arrested after allegedly trying to flee from police on a motorcycle in Marple Township.

According to police, Jack Wilson, 18, has been charged with felony fleeing or eluding police following an incident that occurred on Sunday, June 14.

Officers saw a motorcycle with our a registration plate on it driving along the 1600 block of South Sproul Road on June 14.

Police tried to stop the driver, but the driver sped off. Police said the driver weaved in and out of traffic to avoid being stopped.

The driver ended up on West Chester Pike and was seen by other officers as it sped away, police said.

Eventually, police identify the driver was Wilson and found him at a West Chester residence.
